Metal Roofing Services Canada
We are a full service roofing company!
Roofing is our specialty
Residential, Commercial, Institutional
Specially designed for harsh climates, metal roof withstands summer heat, autumn rains and winter frosts for years. Your building will have a beautiful roof that will last for decades.
The main advantage lies in the colored polymer coating, which effectively protects the hot galvanized sheet from rust and guarantees color stability despite exposure to UV rays as well. We do not just declare this, but provide a guarantee for the aesthetic and technical properties of products.

Installation Order

1
The direction of laying sheets of metal tiles does not depend on the location of the capillary groove and can go both from left to right and in the opposite direction. When working from left to right, the edge of the sheet is lifted, and the edge of the next sheet is placed under it. Thus, the outermost sheet is supported by the shear wave of the previous sheet, which avoids slipping of the sheets during installation. This is especially useful when installing steep pitched roofs or when installing long sheets.
Installation of sheets on a gable roof usually starts from the end, and on a hip roof – from the hip. The sheets are aligned with the eaves, not the end.
If you start the installation with long sheets, then it will be easier to align them relative to the cornice (at right angles).

2
Extending sheets
When building up roofing sheets, mount the sheets one by one according to the order shown in the figure. Drainage grooves on the longitudinal edges of the overlapping sheets determine the installation order.

3
When building, the sheets of metal tiles are connected along the slope and attached to the crate at the bottom of each longitudinal wave under the transverse wave of the profile.
When installing the Ademante profile, the transverse overlap is fixed at the end of the shear wave or at the bottom of each longitudinal wave above the shear wave without attachment to the roof boarding. In this case, self-tapping screws 4.8×35 for metal are used. When placing fasteners, be guided by the aesthetic appearance of the cut as a whole.
To ensure proper laying of the roofing sheets, install the sheets in such a way that they are tightly and precisely joined together.

4
Measure the area under the roofing sheet. Measure from the guideline to the overlap. First, draw a guideline for laying the next sheet on the roof boarding.
It is necessary to make two measurements in order to cut the sheets relative to the valley: the width along the bottom edge of the sheet (Y) and the distance from the eaves to the orientation point where the sheet overlaps (X).

5
Mark a cutting line on the roofing sheet.
Cut off the sheet.

6
Gable Flashing
A gable flashing is installed in the direction from the eaves to the ridge, the excess is cut off at the ridge. A gable flashing is attached to the end plate using a self-tapping screw.

7
Ridge capping
Install the ridge capping on the roofing sheets and fix it with self-tapping screws on every third longitudinal wave. The overlap of the ridge capping should be at least 100 mm.
